Stinky Exhaust Post headgasket

I had my headgasket go on my 4runner.
Sooooo I replaced head gasket and installed a new head becuase of issues with the exhaust manifold holes on old head. Truck is driving fine, but the exhaust smells pretty bad. I cannot place what kind of smell. Just smells like something is burning, not antifreeze, doesnt really smell like oil. Just cant place it.
I did take the cat converter off because i though the issue was originally a clogged cat. Anyway, my question is with the removal of the cat, did the cat converter scrub away alot of exhaust odors when installed? I am not blowing any smoke, nor have any engine codes. Truck drives fine, just smells at times. I cleaned the outside of the motor but that didnt clear up the problem. Just trying to find the stink on my rig.

Thanks

I may have found the problem. or a contributer. I went to look and saw i was dripping oil. Was scared it may ahve been head gasket. Looked around and my frickin oil sending unit is leaking oil. I turned the engine on and drip drip drip coming from it. Never seen that before.
