Check to make sure nothing is bent and your tie rod ends are good. Provided you're not having any issues with alignment, pulling or anything abnormal with the steering I'd say you just have your steering wheel indexed wrong.

Get the tires going straight ahead and park the truck. Then just pull the steering wheel and re-index it to where it's straight. Put it all back together and take it for a drive.

Did you by chance recently change your pitman arm?

That's the most likely cause. Either you installed it one groove off, or the previous owner did. Definitely want it installed correctly. I found a small straight edge or ruler worked best for getting it lined up...

If you simply take the steering wheel off and rotated it over a few splines, your turn signals will not work properly (Unless the steering wheel was installed wrong to begin with). The turn signals function based on where the steering column is, not the steering wheel so your turn signals will either not engage properly or disengage early. The adjustment should be made in your pitman arm or draglink to align it properly.

I took mine off as the PO or some mechanic installed the pitman arm one notch off and then apparently just adjusted the steering wheel. I didn't make note of turn signal engagement before fixing -- I actually swapped in a new pitman arm while changing out my whole steering system idler arms, tie rod ends, pitman arms, etc, when I first purchased the truck...

But after, (just checked actually) my turn signals engage at 1/4 turn in either direction.

But to the original point, if your steering wheel moves out of alignment, and you haven't changed anything, then you first need to identify and fix that problem, not just adjust the steering wheel...

The steering wheel on my old truck was off because I messed up when installing the pitman arm and my blinkers were in fact off as well... The whole "straighten the wheel out and the blinker goes off aspect" was off and the blinker would not always go off. But like previously stated, if you haven't touched anything on the front end, its probably the steering wheel..
