Hi Guys,

I just got a new problem. My 1988 4runner 22R-E, won't start. It has never gave me any problem starting. Then out of the clear blue yesterday I go on my lunch break down to a burger joint eat my lunch come back out and the starter doesn't go I just hear the relay click. So, I figure I must have killed the battery some how. Get some help push start it to get me back to work. I shut it off to see if it will restart, nope, so then I try jump starting it that doesn't work either, so it wasn't a simple dead battery. So, now I'm trying to figure out what took a crap on me, starter, or solenoid, or a relay. Any one have any ideas?

Starter contacts. Pull the starter and replace the contacts. Cheap fix.........starter rebuild I know it is not for your vehicle but it is basically the same. Contact Jacque or go to your local Toyota Dealer and get the contacts. It's best to take the old ones with you so you get the correct ones.
