I have a 93 Xcab 3.0 V6 with a 5 speed, and a recent issue is that when starting the truck, the key will turn to the run position and be just fine, but when I turn it to the start position the starter clicks once and the truck loses all power. After a minute power returns, but attempting to start again does the same thing. For reference, I can bump start her in 2nd gear just fine. I know the clutch switch and starter are perfectly fine. I think the issue remains in the wire connecting the fuzebox next to the battery, but in research I've noticed that people with issues similar to mine are saying it could be a wire going to the starter? I don't know, but this is my only running vehicle right now and I can't afford to lose her because she won't run.
