Starter or Solenoid?

I subscribe to that. I can find clutch master and slave cylinders at http://www.aisinaftermarket.com/
Used 3rd party clutch master cylinder that ended up leaking in less than a year. Returned it to OReilly and nice gent there found an Aisin for me for about same price.

Also got an Aisin replacement fan-clutch aka liquid coupling. Very happy.

Sorry for the delayed update! It was the starter, but the headers were in the way of it and the hunts were coming up so I bit the bullet and took it to the shop. I had them replace the bearings while it was there. $500 later....
This morning it was cold, its been rainy/snowy here for a few days, so I started it up to let it run. I went back in to wrangle the kids, and we came out to leave the house to the 4 Runner making a weird "flapping" sound. I turned it off and opened the hood, the drive belt had a strip that had separated. The weird part was that the belt was in excellent condition otherwise. I started it back up and the sound stopped so I drove it anyway (I know that will make some of you cringe, bear with me till the end of the story). I got to the auto parts store and priced out a new belt, only $17 so not bad, and when I got to work I had to add some more oil (I bought some Lucas as well, it burns oil like crazy) and there was the remains of a dead squirrel on the skid plate! The little jerk must have gnawed on the belt! Anyway, I know the guy at the parts store really well, benefit of a small town, and he says the belt will be fine.
