starter problems

so im going to take my starter out
got the two bolts off
disconect the wires
and for some reason the thing wont come off
i tapped it with a rubber mallet a few times
but no dice
any ideas ???

Is it loose? Are you replacing it or just taking it off?

If you are going to replace it anyway, I would step it up to wailing and a mini sledge.

haha
im trying to take it off so i CAN replace it
i tried prying it with a flat head
no dice
ill grab that mallet again
but im running out of sunlight and i do have to work tomorrow

so in a couple days ill have a new one in
