Start up issues when colds
i have a 1991 toyota pickup 3vze that has start up issues the colder it is the longer i have to crank to start it, started happening after the head gaskets were done, prior to that the truck would start up first try, i did a full tune up, once the truck starts runs great, and once it starts once it start right up untill after it sits for a while again please give me some input thanks

The 2 things that I would check 1st would be:
1) Compression test- low compression will cause hard starts when cold
2) Cold start injector- its there for a reason, and if not working properly,will cause cold starts to take a lil longer.

I'd start by testing the cold start injector and cold start time switch.
A little searching goes a long way...this is a fairly common issue.

howdo i check the cold start injector or time switch i kno i replaced the injector once before nvr really checked if it worked though, do i just pull it out when the truck is cold n see if it squirts fuel??
