sr5 parts

I found a 90 SR5 4runner that Im gonna get some interior parts out of to go in my 89 ex-cab 4x4. The parts Im gonna get are the guages, dash pad, door pannels, bucket seats, center console, steering column cover, and whatever else I might be able to use. I have a few questions though. If the seats are power, can I just take the seat of the power rails and attach them to my 60/40 seat rails? And the console is for an auto. What will I have to do to make it fit with my v6 5-speed. He told me I can get everything I need for $150

You probably could swap the seat over to your frame if there the same, but why not wire up the power seat in your truck, it would be a nice upgrade. The console for an automatic is quite different than a console for a manual, so you will have to see what you need to do to possibly make it work. $150. dollars for everything is a good deal.

Ok first off, lets start with what interchanges.

2nd Gen 4 Door 4Runner doors are several inches shorter, so those door panels will NOT work in your truck.

The seats won't be power, Toyota never put power seats in any truck or 4Runer until 1996 when they started putting power seats in Limited 4Runners.

The center console will swap over, only the front half is different. The 4Runner likely has rear heat, so you will have to fab up some sort of bracket to attach it to.

If you are switching from and oil pressure light to a gauge you need to change your sending unit.

Thanks guys, I sent 4sknrnnr a pm. He went from an auto to a manual in his 90 sr5 runner and he modified his console to work. Maybe he can help me with that part

console

I just switched to buckets and a console from a 90 4runner Automatic into my 94 pickup standard trans with a bench. The buckets bolted right in except for 1 hole. The back part of the console fit right over the surround for the shifter that was already there, even the screws were already there.

Well, I just got back with my seats and guage cluster. After closer inspection, I saw that the console was busted and cracked around the bottom so I left it there. Also, I didnt get the dash pad b/c it was cracked. There is a couple of small tears in the driver seat but im gonna get covers for them any way so no big deal. The guages look great. It has the mechanical spedo(Im sure my does to being an 89). I'll post some pics as soon as they get done loading.
