SR5 arm rests interchangeable/removable?

Heeey all, so my driver's door arm rest is cracked and not the greatest as an arm rest, not that these were ever comfortable..
So my picky interior question is, can I get SR5 arm rests to screw right on where the DLX/base ones do, or are they a whole part of the door assembly in 89-95 pickups?

this is for a 95 non-SR5 xcab.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they do bolt up the same.
The arm rest is merely bolted to the door panel.
Only two or three screws hold it in place.

On my 90 sr5 theres a lot more then two or three screws that hold the arm rest on the door panel. Most of the screws are on the back side of the panel. If your panels have the mounting holes in them, then they should bolt right up, if not you may have to drill a few holes....Rick

Thanks for the responses, looks like if I find door handle/arm rests from 92ish to 95 they should bolt up fine
Stuwy, what year is your rig?
My door is like that one you see in the background here:

and those arm rests do have like a vinyl pad on top right? Just wondering if its even worth changing.

find someone in your area thats parting out a 4runner on craigslist and buy the whole door panel...you can probably get it for 20 or 30 buks.

Don't know if this interests you at all, but when i added power doors to my runner, i just put on armrests from an 89' accord. Much more durable than the toyota armrests and they look completely factory. I knew that sr5 armrests/door panels are worth their weight in gold (possibly more, actually), so i just went with what was available. They look just like the armrests in the 1980s trucks.

Great ideas, I'll deffinitely look more into the old Accord arm rests, certainly easier than a whole new door panel.. even though that would open up the power option.

Did they look like this?

Looks like it might work, just not screwing in the top part, it would probably still attach fine. Seems like the holes look more angled horizontal than vertical than the ones in mine do, but like I said still look workable

My truck is a 93.
My parents corolla is a 91.
The arm rests are the exact same.
Two or three bolts/screws and it's off.
It's that simple.
I don't have power anything so it's just an arm rest with a handle.
