You guys got wet CHUs?

Spooling the rear will be cheaper at first but will catch up in tire wear. Will make tight turns more difficult. Will be more likely to break traction on wet, snow, and ice roads.

Are you talking a full detroit or lunch box? Are you still IFS?

I ran a locrite in my rear for years with very little problems for years. They don't cost much more than a spool. $240ish for the locrite or Aussie.

Happy late Memorial Day. Thanks for your service!

spooled is fun but it does suck driving it on the pavement, the bouncing tire spining on tight turns just flat sucks..but it can be very fun in the rain on the right roads just depends on how much you DD this thing, not much at all spool it...EVERY DAY save for an aussie

i do daily drive it, and yes i still have IFS, ive thought about doing a front axle swap, but im just too lazy and never really have the time to get into my truck the way i used to. so aussie front and rear with 488s looks like the way i might go. thanks yall.

and yeah we have wet chu's, hell it's like the holliday inn, i get to sleep on a real bed, hot ass showers that i dont have to walk across sand to get to. it's high cotton livin right now! lmao!

dont listen to these fools. i dd my spoold 4runner every day for 2 years. the tire wear isnt nearly as bad as everyone says. more than half the time the people that say dont run them on the street never have. the tires will chirp when you park but you learn to deal with it. the offroad performance is amazing and makes up for any problems you have. i made it through all the trails at the cliffs in 2wd low on a dry day.

Had a spool in the back of my 85 4Runner and it's annoying more than anything. Tire chirping, squirrely rear end on slick roads, premature tire wear, etc. For an occasional dd, sure, no sweat, but for a daily driver it was just not ideal. Spend a few more bucks and put another locker in the rear if you dd it.

Sure on the APO.
