speedo cluster removal

So I got the 4 screws out holding it in but it seems the b@#$%#d won't come out. I don't want to pull on anything too hard because it already is pretty frail. Ideas guys? The reason I am removing i my lights have slowly all went out one at a time. I just need to get in there and replace them all. BTW anyone know what bulbs they take?

Thanks
Woodrow

The speedo cable is clipped into the back, pull the cluster out enough to look in there and you will see it. The bulbs that were in mine were just the 194 bulbs that are plugged into a twist base.

Reach in there and unclip it, along with the wiring harnesses, if you are just doing the backlighting there is not that many bulbs, its only like 5 or 6.

took out and put in without a hitch, thanks for the help, I just figured since I had it out I would replace all of them, it seems to me when I first got the truck and it went into 4 low another light came on besides 4x4. now is that right, do you have to have the hubs engaged for it to work. I just pushed the clutch in and put it in 4x4h then 4x4 l and no light. I'm curious. does anyone have a lighted copy of what it's supposed to look like
Thanks again
WOODY

The only lights my truck has are charge, brake, and oil.

Maybe it has more and the lights are just out? That would make sense because a friend of mine has a '79 and it has a 4x4 light and mine doesn't..
