Speedo Cable

anyone know of a good aftermarket? I can’t seem to find anything online. Only rebuild kits which I don’t really want. Stealership wants $118 here in Southern California.

If I needed one I would Jump on the one from the dealer !!

There used to be a few places that could custom build them I have not seen them around in years .

It might have got to expensive to do.

This one? https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_6151677
(Don't forget: you've got to check the length!]

now that is some Google fu. I looked for like 20 minutes and couldn’t find that. Wonder if it’s a replacement or a rebuild kit?

It specifies a length; probably not a rebuild kit.

yep it’s correct. Went and got it at my local NAPA. Just an FYI for future people to browse this thread. It’s the correct one in that link.

The correct one FOR WHAT? I'm pretty sure the speedo cables depend somewhat on transmission, body, and drive. Maybe year, too. I'm sure you don't know about "others," but it would help a lot if you told us which vehicle it does fit.

Ah shucks. I’m up against the San Bernardino’s. I never see green ones around here. Or anywhere for that matter

So I replaced my cable with the one from NAPA auto. Perfect fit, went in smooth. Only took about 45 minutes. Just so everyone knows it’s a great length.
