spectre intakes on 22re

I put a spectre intake tube on my 22re a few months ago. Havent had any real issues, aside from a vacuum leak on the intake manifold and the only code im getting at the moment is for the EGR valve temperature, but I'm attributing that to the vacuum leak.

So I went to check my coolant and fluids and all was good. Was checking hoses and connections and noticed the spectre intake tube was a little loose on the VAFM. I got it as tight as I can get it and it still rotates a little, but no noticeable issues.

Would this cause an excess in air intake and cause problems? What's the best way to seal or connect the spectre tube to the VAFM?

It is using a worm clamp. Ill try the old Tbolt clamp from the stock intake and see if that changes anything.

Throw that crap out and do a battery/intake swap Much better and simpler.

I'm still in the process of doing that, which is why I'm using the spectre intake. The spectre intake is the adjustable length one.
