spark plugs
ok so Im about to change the spark plugs on my truck (3.0V6) and suggestions or tips before I begin they are original plugs and have over 224,000 mile on them is there anything to worry about or and thing special I need to do before I start?

Are you gona do the cap and rotor and plug wires too? make sure you get the area around the spark plugs clean as possible so no junk drops into the cylider. thats all i can think of

It usually goes without saying but when threading in new plugs be very careful to not get them cross threaded. I always use anti-seize on the threads as well since they like to seize to the aluminum head threads.

be careful taking em out as they may be pretty stuck in and you don't want to have to retap anything!
224k? I'd love to see pics of the gap on em...probably pretty bad.
worth doing distributor cap and rotor at that mileage if its all got that many miles on it...

ok so I got it done and had no problems thanks guys I really appreciate it alot and as far as the gap there was no tip it was flush with the plug Ill get pics later and 2 of the wires were showing bare so glad I did it and now it runs and idles like its brand new I love it and definatly a difference in power !!
now for exhaust do you guys have any recommendations?
