Spare tire lock

I have a 1991 4runner with the spare tire carrier on the back and i want to put a nice spare on there but don't want it getting ripped off. what would you guys recommend for keeping it locked up?

Bike chain or locking lug nuts. Look at 5 o'clock.

+1 to what matt said... they shouldnt be more than 20 bucks for a set of 4 at your local kragens or autozone... and you can use all three of them if your really paranoid!
