The garage that put the recond engine in did not hook it to the TVV. It was hooked directly to throttle body. So frustrated, thanks Gevo

Do with temperature, maybe this is why it shows running hot but with infared temperature tester it's only around 212 deg f, can someone please chime in? Thanks

No, the TVV isn't involved in the cooling system of the vehicle, nor the temperature reporting system.

Wow Gevo, your a better Man Than I, I could not find the TVV. I was looking up against the fire wall which is where the vacuum diagram shows it to be located and I could not see a coonection for a vacumm hose. I will try to locate in some of the post on here , I am sure others have gone down this road, Gevo I did manage to break my glasses though...lol thanks Gevo

The TVV is hard to see with all of vacuum lines and plenum in the way. I use a little mirror with a collapse-able handle. More than likely the TVV valve is broken, which is why it's not being used. It sits in the same area where all the temp sensors are.
