Some pitting on 22re head...Should it be resuraced

So my 94 pickup beater truck blew a head gasket. I tore it all down and have been having a heck of a time getting the head and block clean. I got a strait edge and checked the head and it seemed to be within spec but after lots and lots of cleaning i've noticed there is some pitting around the inside edge of where cylinder four meets the head. Is this thing just going to blow right away again if I don't get that taken care of?

I've been trying to find someone who resurfaces heads around here with little luck so I was hoping to be able to just throw it back on but I don't want to be doing the gasket job again in a few weeks. The truck is pretty beat though so I don't want to be throwing a lot of money into it that I don't have to.

I would get it shaved down just to be on the safe side. As a rule, both mating surfaces need to be flat and free of pits for a proper seal. Once you put it back together, makes sure and retorque those head bolts after about 500 miles and you should be good to go.
