slip yoke eliminator?

slip yoke eliminator?
do our trucks come stock without slip yokes? i know this is a big problem on jeeps where they spit the driveshafts if the axle drops too much so people put in slip yoke eliminators, but when looking under my truck, there seems to be a slip yoke in the driveshaft and at both ends (tcase/ axle) there is just a flange where 4 bolts hold on the driveshaft... am i right to believe this is a slip yoke eliminator???

so when the axle droops on our trucks, the driveshaft itself is what slips to make up for the distance? acting like a slip yoke eliminator kit used on a jeeps... do i have this correct?
if i am correct, how high can one lift one of our trucks without needed a custom driveshaft (just out of curiosity)

yes your correct, the d-shaft slips n the middle, i think anything above a 4" lift is pushing it, depending on the amount of flex your rear has you might have to get a custom d-shaft for the rear, but with stock springs, no worries, ive had mine flexed out teter tottering, with no problem..
