Hey guys,

Wnated to let everyone know about a good cheap mod that I did to my 91 Runner so I could check fuel pressure without having to use the the whole toyota service tool bajo bolt garbage stuff!!!

I took the hollow banjo bolt out of my fuel rail on the Drivers side front then took it and drilled a hole in the center for a 1/8 pipe tap and then tapped it with a 1/8 pipe thread tap. Then screwed a schrader valve in to the bolt with sealant and it has worked like a charm for me. Maybe you want to try it!!!

yea pic swould be nice ..
and i have a friend that did almost the same thing to his 3.0, but instead of the shrader valve he put a small fuel pressure gauge there .

actually, I guess you could do it to a 22re; just might be more of a pain to access the valve is all

 

didn't think to include pics - will get some tomorrow if I can and post them - I pastor a church so tomorrow may be busy but if not I will try for Monday.
