IF the grill is brand new, I would probably forget about peeling the chrome off.

I mean if you want to spend the time (It'l take you awhile!) you can peel it all off with a razor, but if its new then you could probably get away with just a heavy sanding.

Hey overdrive, why not head down to the wrecker and just pick one up?

i have been trying.
came across one grey one simlilar to mine on a 4runner, broken.
found a chrome 92 grill, broken.
like i said earlier, they're usually gone already or broken. but still keeping my hope up for a wrecker speacial!!

Check craigslist.

There are a few guys on there who part out 4runners for a living..

they had a chrome one but it was broken. no mounting tabs. and no grey one at the time.

hey i finally figured out what i like so much more about the 4runner grills... the chrome part that goes around the grills fins sticks out farther lol ill get some pics.

see what i mean? the 4runner grill with the light buckets blacked out looks so much better imo than the pushed in grill and chrome buckets of the pickup. lol. old thread but hey it needed an update
