Shocking

I need advise. My runner needs new shocks before I put new tires on. Within the next year I "plan" on putting a lift kit on. I don't want to throw money away on high dollar shocks, just to replace them when I do the lift. What would be the best option for the present?

Or......does anyone have a decent set of shocks laying around that they need to get rid of?

Just get some aftermarket Monroe's or something. Once you put on the lift you are going to have to get longer than stock shocks regardless.
