shock help please!

I am helping a buddy build his toyota and he has a 4 inch bracket lift and we just did ball joint spacers. Now we want to get some really nice shocks for the front but which should he buy? I was thinking bilsteins but would the part number BE5-6582-H5 on allshocks.com work good with the bracket lift and bj spacers ? He wants the best shock he can get within reason so if you know of a better setup let me know and I will order it up.

Bilsteins should be pretty good. The "best shock" doesnt really exist, it depends on your personal preference. If you want the max travel, take the shocks off and go flex it and measure it up

Thumbs up Bilsteins.........

I dont have that kind of lift but recently switched to Bilsteins from Rancho RS9000 9ways, night and day difference all the way around... Some people think that Bils are too stiff,I think they are great, not stiff at all, actually plush compared to the harsh ride of the Ranchos and are very controlled! Edelbrock has a good sale on their shocks, Ive heard they are really good and through their website they are about $30 each marked down from around $90!
