Question Shift Knob Emblem

I need to glue the emblem on the shift knob. Does anyone know the glue Toyota originally used?
This is still tacky but no longer holds the emblem in place.

Does anyone know of a good substitute? I don't want to epoxy it in the event it someday might need to be replaced and I doubt epoxy would maintain the bond.

Don’t use glue. I used 3M VHB double stick tape and mine has been on 5 years with no sign of giving up. It's good for so many things.

I use super glue. Lasts for several years then have to do it again.

Use contact cement. Clean the old glue off for a nice flat fit.
