Shield

Anybody know what the technical name is for the protective shield that covers the flywheel? 1990 4Runner V6 5SPD.

Its not called a dust shield.I tried that and found nothing but brake dust shield crap.Lol

are you talking about the bell housing or scatter shield i think its called

Yes,it protects my new clutch and flywheel.Right now its open,I can crawl underneath my front end and put 4 fingers on the flywheel.

i think that cover you are talking about would be the inspection cover.
