Sensor identification, broken nipples
So I am changing my burnt valves on my 1992 4runner 3vze and up on removal of my intake manifold and hoses I broke 2 nipple tabs off a sensor.
I need a replacement and want to know if you guys know what sensor this is and or part number.
Thanks
Here is a picture of what I broke.

Its a bypass tvv or something of that nature, cant remeber the exact name, but... I broke mine as well, and found a thread here on yotatech that shows how to repair it...
Basically just take a bic ball point pen, and use the plastic end pieces to make new nipples, superglue them in, and voila like new.... Ill do a quick search to see if I can find the thread for ya.
*edit* Her ya go... Have fun! https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ix-pics-84460/

Good luck with the repair. I tried it on mine, but found the remaining plastic on the head of the valve just to crumbly to hold.
I bought one from the dealer for about $65.
http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/t...925-05047.html offers it for $47.85 (I've never purchased from them.) Now that you know the part number and the correct name, you can shop however you want and report back here.
Yes, the vacuum leak should negatively affect running. But because the nipple stayed in the hose when you broke it off, the leak isn't too large, and the ECM can probably compensate around it. It's nothing compared to burnt valves.
But the purpose of the TVV is to empty the evap canister; without it the canister will fill and eventually start dripping fuel. Well worth $65 to get it fixed.
