Selling the ol' Land Cruiser

I love the out of my 94' FZJ80, but at the moment, im getting around 11-12 miles to the gallon, and the $7.50 an hour i'm making isn't exactly enough to pay for anything. My dad just bought me a 1992 toyota 2wd pickup, 5 speed. Since i'm selling the land cruiser for $5K and the pickup was around $2300 i'll have about $2700 to put into upgrades. Im definitely always driving around the desert here in Cave Creek Az, so I'm going to want to turn it into as good of a prerunner as i can for $2700. So BASICALLY what im asking is what suspension kit should I get?

ya i'd look into the TC kit. the 2wd is sick and i think it's got a 12" wider trackwidth.

thats what i was thinking but theres the ball joint or uniball suspension. The uniball is way nicer, and looks way sicker, but is about $3700

i'd save up for the uniball, but if all you can afford is the ball joint then maybe its still worth it to you. afterall, it wouldn't be on the market if it was crap.

EDIT: or at least not complete crap i guess!!! lol

is the fabtech lift no good? It's way cheaper. My original plan was a 2'' body lift, and then the fabtech 3 1/2'' suspension lift.
