Tatton uses standard 1310 u-joints in his shafts as i have ordered one of his off of Ebay before. 1310 u-joints do not have enough clearance to work on a Toyota. U need Toyota joints/flanges which are good to 41 degrees. It won't stop the vibes itself, but it will stop you going through u-joints. Or, you could try the Tom Woods offset u-joints for more clearance.

Angle is not the worst I've seen, but if Scotty C is right about Dana 1310 u-joint you don't want them, stock yotas are stronger and as Scotty C mentioned more clearance.

Call Jesse High Angle Drivelines awesome work and he is very versed drineshafts. Shoot Marlin references him on the Marlin website.

yup 1310/toyota goofy ujoint that can only be bought at rockford drive shafts. i fliped the driveline around and its maxed just sitting there. tom woods uses toyota ujoints in there shafts? jesse is assosiated w/ marlin or no? id just like the noise to go away, 2nd gear and faster, very annoying.

http://www.marlincrawler.com/axle/dr...ront-driveline I guess thats the case. Highangle used to just be recommended for complete drive shafts. Call Jesse he's very knowledgable been doing this for a living for awhile. He never talked down to me nor acted like I was wasting his time asking tons of questions. He made two shafts for me and I bought another used. The last time I needed a shaft lengthen I just went local but that was to lengthen and no balance so no big deal.

Not a goofy joint at all. That should just be a standard 1310 joint you could buy anywhere. The flange that bolts to the pinion is a custom flange.

As said, Toyota joints are night and day stronger than a 1310.

well jesse said my angles are all f'd up (qoute), and the right way to fix it is to duel case and lengthen the shaft. high pinion would help, but duels the way to go. so as far as whitewhale goes, you have duel already right? a guy at marlin suggested getting the high pinion and their cv shaft, which uses toyota joints. i guess high pinion is the call, and ill see if i need a new shaft.
