Hey all!
1991 4runner here. I got bad choppy noises when I am lifting of lowering my tailgate window.. I stripped the tailgate and found out that the noise is matching the choppy movement of the rusty spring on the regulator. WD40 wouldnt help. Should I try to take the whole regulator out, then remove the spring and clean it with a wire brush? Maybe this will help to make it move smoothly again? What do you guys think?
