Question Rushing water noise?

Anybody ever get a sound like rushing water when accelerating? Or when in nuetral and giving it a little gas? This only happens sometimes. I recall seeing a post on this subject in the past, but there was no explanation. It just said it was common and not to worry about it. I am not worried about it, but would like to know if anyone knows where the noise is coming from.
PS. I bought my truck cheap because the previous owner wrecked the motor by submerging it one day while wheeling. I had a truck of the same model with body and suspension damage from a wreck. (A MercedesSL 500 rear-ended me. So sad for him!) So I swapped the motors and trannies. I don't see how this would affect the noise, but just thought I would throw it out there.
Any facts or ideas? Thanks!

it's probably just air in your coolant lines. mine does it a bit, too. you can run the heat on super-high for a while, or burp the system by gently squeezing and releasing the upper radiator hose at startup, i believe.

Thats my guess too and as long as your not over heating and your windshield doesn't fog all up when ever you turn on your heater and your floor on the passenger side is not wet you should be fine.
Unless your car when trying to start it goes click click than you better jump out quick cause the mafia may have a hit out on you.
Otherwise you should be fine
