running rich

my truck is a 1992 toyota pickup 3.0l v6 5 speed no cat single muffler one outlet and dual exhaust k&n cold air intake and my truck smells like its burning rich idk if it would be the 02 sensor or map or ??? any help?

Do you mean the exhaust smells like unburned fuel, or that you can smell fuel elsewhere?

Have you checked for ECM codes?

How many miles on your O2 sensor?

Yeah it smells almost sweet how can I check ECM modes? And if it's original O2 then it has 230,000

O2 sensors aren't worth two dead flies past 100,000 miles.

Code test tool (paper clip) & short pins E1 & TE1 together in the DIAGNOSTIC port next to the underhood fuse box. Turn key to ON position & count the blinks of the Check Engine light. it comes in 2 digit codes with a pause between each digit. More than one code continues in sequence. If steady blinking every half second, no codes are stored.

It's been documented about 100000 times....

There ya go... I've got a resonator in place of cat, and will makes your eyes tear when parked, or back window rolled down. It's my own bug exterminator. I also have the PAIR system removed (not by choice) which makes it worse.
