Running Lucas oil...

Hi folks, I'm new here, been lurking for a couple months. Now I feel qualified to post some questions:
I just got a 94 4runner, previous owner has been running straight Lucas oil for the last 3months, will that do more harm than good? SR5 5speed 3.0 4wd 200K.

depends on what he was using, and where.

Are you talking in the tranny? Lucas oil is more than just an addative company...they also have straight up gear oil, as well as synthetics.

Pretty sure its the gear oil, not synth. Both in the engine and trans.
