Running the Fuel FilterVertical Issues?

Hey guys, Is there any isses with running the fuel filter vertical? Looks like mine must have been changed at least once cause I read on here that there is a holder for the filter but the one that came off had lil tabs on the filter itsself and the one Igot had no tabs at all. There was enough slack in the lines to rotate the filter and reach a support to which I put a bit of rubber and zip tied in place. Seems cool, real easy to service later and secure but just wanted to hear your opinons/experiance on this. Heres some pics, sure does look better with out a fuel filter over a starter. Ive seen a few relocation pics but useally is a relocate to the firewall an the few I have seen were horizontal. Thanks

Well been runnin it for a week so no issues. Rereading the question it does sound kinda silly which is prolly why I got no responces but what I was thinkin was that now the pump has to push the fuel verticaly against gravity and the filter media at the same time and if that could possibly delay the fuel supply or not
