Yank 'em. When I took mine off, they were, unfortunately, the only thing holding the fender trim on. Apparently there was more rust than I thought!

I actually put a set of them on my 4th gen runner because its my wife's DD and she is kinda short and wanted help getting in and out, but I'd never dream of having them on my truck.

I do run a nerf on my truck though but mostly to keep from getting door dings and to hide the BL a little...
I am in the process of getting rid of mine and I just had to say...I am a chick

Thankfully I am a 5'10" chick so I won't need to hop as high.
