Oh and the og owner had the radiator replaced its a Gm radiator and every month or two months i need to add some. Yeah the other night i got home. just driving about 10 mins and it was smoking somewhat. I added some fresh prestone and water but i checked the tank today when she was gettin close to the red and it was full. I think Thermo is sticking or something.

OKay, first heres what I would do.
I would find a new toyota rad, swap it in. While you're in there make sure your fan clutch is working correctly.
Next, I would flush out all the old coolant (drain, fill with all water, run then drain and fill with a 50/50 mix of toyota coolant and water) and replace it.
Replace your thermostat with a toyota one (trust me, they are different for the 22re)
Next jack up the front of the truck (After filling it up with your mix), remove the rad cap and set it to hot. Run untill its at its running temp. This will burp the air out of the cooling system, a problem with toyotas.
Then see where you stand. If you constantly take it past the normal temp you will have headgasket problems. ITs a given with an iron block/aluminum head combo.

and check all your hoses and your water pump as well like stated above if it keeps overheating the slightest bit you WILL have problems with the head gasket down the road there is no dobut about it. for the water pump find the weep hole and look for coolant and for the hoses when the truck gets to normal operating temp grab them and if they are weak and or mussy feeling they need to be replaced
