I'm stumped folks. I have a 1989 pickup 3.0 V6 3Vze engine with 4x4. I recently tore into it due to an oil leak, I replaced the rear camshaft plugs, front cam seals, and the front crankshaft seal. While I had it all apart I installed a new water pump, timing belt, tension pulley, and the top pulley between the 2 can gears (not sure what it's called) I also replaced the plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor. Now my issue is I can start the truck and it will run great until it gets up to operating temperature. Then it idles rough and will eventually die out. I have a hissing noise that sounds like its coming from under the plenum and a decent amount of smoke or steam as well. I have no idea where to start to try and fix this issue.
