So i recently picked up all 3

The rough idle would be more of a jump, then it would smooth out, back and fourth, and also putt.

When driving i would feel hesitation

Also picked up a check engine light. I would disconnect the battery to clear the codes but the CEL would never turn off. It came right back on.

My mechanic had the truck for about a week, and ended up replacing the MAF. I picked up the truck yesterday and it still had the jump and hesitation, but the CEL was off. He smogged it and it passed

Today, 5 miles later, the CEL is back on

Try the dollar bill trick?
Compression test?
Test for vacuum leaks?
When was the last tune up done?
