My 94 Toyota 3.0 (Auto) is very rough starting, takes a steady hand and foot sometimes. It will start and seems to run very rich. Lot of smoke and gas smell....almost like my injectors are leaking all night... It will idle at low RPMs at this point when the engine is cold. I will begin to drive and the truck will not shift into a higher gear to reduce the RPM's until the truck is warm. It rides @ 3000 RPMs. When the truck is warming up it seems to just suck the gas too. Once the truck is warm though I have no problems starting it and no odor and no idle issues.
Is it a possible leaking Injector, or Temp Switch? Anyone deel with similar issues and find any solutions? Any help that would save me time and money would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
