Roof Mounted Gun Rack

It is single, and I think all the braces are on the rim but I didn't get a picture and don't remeber so there might be one or two that run across in the middle. They're pretty much all the same, truck vs runner, unless you have a roof window.

Sounds reasonable if his back window rack and seat gun pouches are full. Plus you have to keep ammo and the pickups have small cabs.
Actually this is a good idea in canada. We hàve a law that says rifles have to be " out of sight" when the owner is not with the vehicle. The roof would be perfect if you did it the correct way. I am very interested in what the op has planned

IMO theres is not nearly enough head room for any kind of gun rack up there. I am not a tall guy, and I couldnt imagine putting one on my ceiling. Thats all.

yeah you can(should be able to) fit an ar15 up there, might need the telescoping stock. There is atleast 30inches/76cm of flat space at the roof and a good two inches or so available behind the headliner. Around 4ft between doors. (Taken from my headlienr replacement notes) I was thinking roof mounted gun safe or something mounted like a luggage rack for some reason

Hillbilly called it. All the toolbox and back seat room is taken. Need room because I go out in the woods a lot and sometimes ol' rusty needs to ride along depending on what I'm going to do. Plus I'm not losing my beer window either.
