Roll Bar and Incilnometer

Hey Y'all
I just stopped by a junkyard recently where it had 4 very nice 1st Gen 4Runners!!
All had the Roll Bar In them And two of the had the Incilnometer in them...

I am a 3rd Gen owner obviously from my post...
I am going to get the inclnomter from one of them, I know how to get that off...
I will jerry rig some set up to mount it in my 4Runner...

Now here is my question
The Roll Bar...
Does anyone know if it will fit in a 3rd Gen 4Runner?
Also To remove the roll bar....
Is it bolted on or welded on?
I would love to get an answer by atleast Saturday Before I head back...
Any input would be great!!!

Thanks!!

There is a little moding you have to do to make the roll bar fit but really not that much mainly cut the front legs down 2" and then weld the plates back on or make custom mounts.

Thanks for the Tip on the Cut!

Now just to get it out of the 1st Gen?

It;s just 4 bolts for each leg right?

I will do that come Saturday for you guys...
I was just happy enough to come across them and be able to find what was on them...
I was hoping to find one with a power antenna to get that button that they had to pu tit up and down, but to no avail they all had teh whip style...

Some of them had aftermarket rims that i was considering...
I want a piar of black rims but i don't think moms gonna let me paint mine...
So another set off another yota might be work while...

Man there was one red one there that I would have taken in a heart beat if I had the money...

Why does everything in the end always have to boild down to cash?

How much is the clinometer? I may be interested in the other one. Would you mind shipping it?

Also, it's 2 bolts for each leg on the rollbar and the top does have to be removed or at least raised a couple inches.

The guy says he wants $25 each for them...

Shipping is alright, just as long as I am reinburesd in the end...

Also I am thinking of taking the rims off one of them (were after market)
And painting them black and later when I get the money putting some Mud Terrains on them...

Also for everyone looking at this post...

Saturday I will be going back...
I will take pictures of all the Runners and a couple of the tacos and older trucks...
I will also post the number to the place...
One thing I do know is that this place only takes cash I believe...
Wichi sucks since I am very limited on that as it is...
So if someoen wants something big...
You will have to bear with me...

1ST Gen Help!!

Ok, I got the inclinenometer off but I can't get the mounts off...
How do i get the mounts off?
I presume tehre are bolts underneath the dash?
But hod do I get to them?
I sliced my hand open trying to get the vent covers off to try to get to them and gave yup there....
(not to big... just another scar to add to the number of scares from the Runner)

So 1ST Gen Owneres Speak up!!!
How do I get those mounts off!!!

I will have to just figure out a way to cut the dash and get it out...
I don't want to have to do that but it is looking like a last resort here...
