Rod end bolts loose?

Rod end bolts loose?

Got my front brakes done and the mechanic tells me my rod end bolts are loose. he says parts and labor will be $150. is this a proper quote? is this something that can be done easily? any write-ups?

Where is this rod end bolts at exactly? Maybe I call it differently....

tie rod ends perhaps? not really sure...

sounds like a classic "need to change the blinker fluid" or your horn filter needs replaceing.

rod ends to me means connector rods on the pistions, but you could tell they are loose from a break job and it would be WAY more than $150 to fix them.

im gonna have to say tie rod ends, in which case you can tighten them yourself with a 19mm socket and about 30 sec of time.

thats what I thought at first when I read the thread title, but I seriously doubt it...

I think you oughta call the mech and ask him what it is he means
