rocker panel?

hey guys, since i bought my truck ive known that the passenger side rocker panel is pretty well ed, it doesnt show much, except on the very bottom, but im wondering if there is a way of fixing it? couple of pics below, i was thinking some sheet metal? i dont feel like cutting the rockers off another truck and replacing mine, is there another way?

where I come from, rust like that means cutting out pieces and welding replacements back in, but not just the small pieces that are rusting... full quarter sections get replaced, sometimes clips.
