Rock Solid 4x4 Humboldt- Check this truck!!
I stopped in a new local 4x4 shop here in Humboldt county today and met THEE coolest guys. Total Yota FANATICS. The shop is called Rock Solid 4x4. Kind of rare around here to have a Toyota shop dedicated to Wheeling. Other then Mikes Specialty Repair in Redway 2hrs south, this is the only shop like this. Check their sticker...
There were 3 trucks inside all on 39's loaded with every crawling mod in the book!
The place is like a Yota crawling museum of art!

i will get a few better pics. It was kinda hard to walk in there. There were dual transfer cases, motors, and fab stuff everywhere.

The motor came while I was in there.
22r LC cam. Beautiful motor. That white truck is getting totally worked over.
The one behind it just got a new motor

that is wicked sweet... may have to stop by there on my way to warshnin/idaho...
it looks like they went with a SKY MFG. SAS kit?
also, the black truck in the background looks to be a mid 90's F-series pickup...

Hey Derek I stopped by that shop yesterday and what a great bunch of guys they are
. I just hung out for 30 min shooting the s#%t and now I'm happy that I SASd my rig. When I first moved out here I asked Rocky over at Rockys 4x4 if there where any places to wheel out here and he told me that there were none, so I felt bummed and that I totally just wasted my SAS on my runner. These guys offered to call me when they go on wheeling trips after they finish their rigs
. Now I just have to finish my bad boy so I can go on some of these runs.
By the way how is the SAS coming along?

Hey, Jacruz
I didn't see your post earlier.
I got my rear re geared and Aussied. I got the diff back in (in the driving rain) and I have been taking out for a break in - test drive.
As far as the SAS, everything is ready to go. I am waiting on the SA kit and the 4.88's and master kit for up front.
Those guys in that shop have a private property area dedicated to wheeling near Mad River over by Ruth. I have driven by there a million times but I don't know exactly where it is. Its off FS 1.
I am dumbfounded Rocky's would tell you "there are none" WTF ??. That is ABSURD. There are so many good areas to wheel around here. Iron mountain is FANTASTIC this time of year. On FS 1 alone there are so many skid roads. Your set up would drool over. You should fill the tank, pack a lunch, and head over there. Take any road NOT POSTED.

Toyo-
I can't wait till my truck is ready I still need to build my front shaft, and other misc stuff. I really can't wait to get it going, but I have 2 jobs and a family and lets just say this Christmas was a good one so I'm still trying to recover from that.
So what kit did you end up going with (details man details), also who are you going with to do the swap?
