Painted the rims black today...it looks pretty good

looks good with the black on the bottom of the truck - really changes the whole look

those are manual hubs, they just need to be repainted.

What did you use? Rattle can or what?? Just wondering what kind of prep is involved and the durability the end result? Thanks

used a rattle can...rustoleum gloss black

im not gonne lie this is not a great paint job...these rims are temporary until i get some bigger tires and some lift, i just gave them a good clean with some steal wool and sprayed them up.

apparently there is a very good write up on how to do it in the tech section, even has a video...check that out for sure if you wanna do a very nice long lasting job

it'll be popped in a little bit....not exactly warm weather here right now...not to mention some serious rain..gotta wait till the end of spring/summer..still potential for some snow fall
