lol. i dont have a tach either. kinda wish i did, but it doesnt rly matter. i know where the engine will cut off and i know where the engine will stall. other than that, depends on how i feel like drivin as to where my shift points are. have no idea what the actual rpms are most of the time.

Try opening her up!
take her up to 4,500rpm, you would be surprized on how peppy the engine is once you open her up

im guessing that was in the 3.4L. not sayin u cant beat a ricy civ in a 22re engine, cause been there done that, but wasteing would be a big of an overstatment.

no overstatement.

but, it was lowered so much that it ran on the bumpstops. basically had no suspension whatsoever!

Theres a difference between shifting and knowing how and when to shift, this kid was shifting, I was power shifting, and no its not an over statement as I beat the little punk by two car lengths, and it was in my 22R not a 22RE, and not my 3.4, Ive raced, civics, rx7's, preludes, you name it.. hell I can eat a SN-95 V6 for lunch. It's not that hard...

drives me nuts.

as for the shift points. very true. i know exactly how and where to shift. dont have a tach. just gotta know exactly what the engine sounds like when its about to kaputz, then ya shift.

Hah, well if I somehow manage to bust the cables on a 10 ton crane by just hoisting myself up, I got more to worry about than knockin some sense into me. Would be more worried about loosing a good 20,000 pounds or so...

But I'm happy to report that I have yet to have a good measure of sense knocked into me. Even when I was testing out my hardhat by runnin full speed into a brick wall, I am still sense-less.
