Hey, good cup holders in a 1st gen runner are like... Well, it'd be like finding a full nude centerfold of jessica alba in a field and stream magazine; not outta the realm of possibilities, but totally unexpected!

Lift.

But when your music is so loud on the highway with the windows open you can hear your engine. Trust me I spent plenty of time shifting by the sound of the engine. What lift do you think i could do on this to ditch the body lift and still run 33's????

im in the middle of debating whether i should swap in an SR5 cluster w/tach for my basic speedometer or get a aftermarket tach like you did. What do you think is easier to do? I dont want to have to cut any holes into the dash to put in a tachometer. I also dont wana get one so huge as my truck already looks rice the way it sits (altezza lights in the back lol).

Puttin in the tach was easy. Two self tapping screws, 4 wires and alittle frustration. then BOOM you got a dun RPM register! All in all its gonna be a bitch to swap a sr5 cluster.

Or you coulda just turned 9 screws (yes, it really is only 9), done NO wiring, and slapped on an oil pressure gauge style sender (instead of the idiot light sender) and had NO frustrations at all...but to each their own.

see my above post, but putting in the factory setup is SOOOO much easier, and looks factory....becuase it IS! Do a search on here and there are tons of threads pertaining to the SR5 cluster swap. I did it in my 86 4Runner and am very happy with the results.

see if it was that simple i would have done it already. The reason i didnt do it yet is because i want to change the odometer from the most likely higher milage SR5 guage to my trucks actual milage (220000km). I have no idea how to do this and i dont want my cluster to have more clicks than the truck.

umm. u called that ricer? when a lifted toyota pickup on 33's with an arb front bumper and a bunch of mud becomes a "ricer" i'll follow swamps example and hang myself by the belt on a crane.

imo ricer only contains the exterior. that includes spoilers, exhaust, random doo-hickys on the windows, weird thingys on the roof, and being able to hear their music over their engine at full rev.

the interior can look like whateva, its cool, everyones doin it.

It's what's affectionately known as a 'fart pipe'.

Im running a 5 inch tach in mine as well, Its a black face Autometer though, and its on the other side of the cluster and seems to look better, Makes mine look mean in my opinion. Only reason I went with it was cause it was is my Camaro so I stole it since the Camaro is for sale and I had no tach

Jesus tits of death on a helicopter all you need is a freaking 2 1/4 inch tach... I got one so I know what my engine is doing, other than that my engine politely bitch slaps me and tells me to quit being a show off and shift at around three grand once in a while or 5k if Im pushing it.

Your truck must be slower then a mo-ped!
I shift lowest at 2500rpm
highest 5,500rpm.

The tach looks good. If you like it....then who cares what everyone else thinks.
