Hey i have a 92' Pickup With the 3VZ-E motor and it doesn't want to go into reverse. when you try and put it in it grinds. i've tried putting it in 4th then reverse but it doesn't help much. If i really crank on it i can get it in reverse but it grinds a lot so for now i have to shut it off then put it in reverse.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Make sure you clutch bracket isnt cracked.
