hi all anyone know where i might find a reverse idler gear. its for an 86 4 speed but was used in many trucks and 4runners the part number is 33402-22022. i have been trying to locate one with no luck so i figured i would ask the experts here.

 

Just where have you tried so far.

I would guess it is long obsolete at the dealer .

I think I just put one of those Transmissions in the load of scrap . A few weeks ago.

How about a picture with some dimensions ??

What other Transmissions is it used in??

Dam, can find used trannys for under 200 all day long. Seems like a good time to swap in a 5 speed.

 

thanks for the replies i have tried tons of toyota dealers in canada as well as parts dealers on the internet with no luck. i will try 1sttoyota thanks rworegon. as far as i can find out it was used in most W 4 and 5 speed trans. from 84 to 86 and some 86 to 89 4 run and pu as long as it was 4 cyl also in motorhome
