Reverse glow gauges installed! (pics)
I installed these reverse glow gauges that I got off ebay for 25 bucks or something like that. I have to thank Joey and Jason's writeups on their indiglo gauges. This all started when I installed my tranny temp gauge, it was all cool blue and it made the green gauges look bad. Anyways, I hadn't seen any pics yet of the reverse glow, so here they are:

After:
After at night:
Not to hijack my own thread, but does anybody know why photobucket is resizing the pics bigger than they used to? The first pic was uploaded awhile ago and is fine, the next two were uploaded tonight and they are big.

looks good, the first is decently not large, so i dont think bucketophoto woulda touched it, but it looks like the last two may have been larger and resized to an even 800x600, they've changed a few things but i dont know if its for worse

Andrew, thanks, it seems that they aren't resizing them to the smaller size anymore. If I post anything that was uploaded before they changed, it turns out good, now everything new is huge. I can't figure out how to chang it without resizing it before upload to photobucket. Which that was why I liked photobucket, I didn't have to worry about resizing. I haven't been able to see if the settings can be changed or not.
Soiledgreen, I think I can change the color to green on this one. You can also buy a thing that will change it to six different colors. I think it only changes the middle lit up part though. I will snap some pics tonight of the other "green" color.

On photobucket, when you upload, there is a choice at the options below the upload button about what size you want them to be in photobucket, it will still resizer them for you if you want, you just have to tell what to do .

Thanks guys! I got them off ebay, I will have to look up who I got them from. I will warn that they seem kind of iffy. I like the look of the regular glow gauges with the black numbers, but I def. like the reverse glow better at night. Not the biggest fan of the red and blue during the day, but my interior is blue so it's not too bad. The install wasn't too bad, just followed the UKmyers and jason's writups in the tech section. I have already had the dash pulled apart many times and I had just installed the tranny cooler gauge so it was fresh in my mind. Elton, I just turned 100,000 at pismo dunes the other day.
reggie, fam's doing good and Jack says hello back. Jack just turned 2 on Wed.
Soiled green here are the pics of the two colors on the switch that I have. I know you can buy an additional switch that will change it to 6 different colors. I swear it is supposed to be green and blue but it's more like lite blue and blue:
Blue:
"Green"
I'll find out who I got them from and post the info later today.

here is where I got the gauges from:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1989-...mZ230028987582
It did take awhile to get them and it did take a few emails before they responded. They said they had received a bad shipment that they had to send back, so it took awhile. After that they were quick to return emails. If your speedometer has a stop pole, you will have to cut a tiny hole for it. The tach has a hole for it, but not the speedo. A good exacto knife comes in handy. I had to trim the middle a little to get it over the tach needle.
Yes the blue and green do look about the same. What they claim is "green" is actually just a lighter blue. The only part that changes is the center of the speedo and tach. YOu can get a digital inverter that will change it all the way to green if you want to.
