Replacing Thermostat on 90 4Runner

Where is it located? Top or bottom, and is it easy to replace?

I am having O/D problems in the cold, think it might be the t-stat issue.

Be careful when putting it back, some of the thermostat housings are plastic and will crack if you overtighten them. Especially ones that are 18 years old.
