it's either m6x1.00 or m8x1.25. toyota only uses about 3 thread patterns for the whole engine. as for length, it looks like about 15-20mm

Thanks Ian - it was M6x1.00 - perfect fit.

Pretty bad shot with the oil pressure sender wire in the way, but here it sits with new studs and nuts:

Yep! Had some wifi issues when I posted this today - that's it!

I have a leak now though, from that pipe (I think) where it cross behind the head. I filled up with water (no engine start yet) and have a small leak:
